Hi, my name is Takako Adamos.
I am a passionate design generalist experienced in production design, graphic design, package design, UI/UX design, and motion
graphic design.
My background is in interior and package design. I started my career as an interior designer in Japan. I worked for one of Japan's largest interior design companies, designing public spaces for airports, department stores, and malls. I started my career in the US as a package designer.
As the only designer in that company, I did every design job for the company and other duties outside of my job description: event planning and coordination, project direction, photography, food styling, graphic design, and so on. Isn’t it a very interesting position? These are all precious experiences for me! Through these works, I earned valuable skills like analyzing and scheduling, as well as improving my communication skills and broadening my points of view.
Some very random things about me:

I was in a Kendo club when I was a middle school student.

I’ve been to Thailand and France on my own. I liked traveling solo but the only drawback I had was it felt lonely eating dinner by myself.

Reading Manga brings me back to my center and inspires me. My favorites were, Nausicaa (風の谷のナウシカ）, In This Corner Of The World（この世界の片隅に）, and Saint Young Men（聖お兄さん).

I ran the 2017 San Francisco Half Marathon. I understand that I’m not a long-distance runner. I can enjoy running up to 5K.

I like drinking beer, especially IPA because it’s a hoppy flavor.
